ABOUT RICH
Rich was an Alabama standout under Coach Bear Bryant and is an avid hunter and former Alabama State Representative (2014–2022). He played for the Green Bay Packers from 1979 to 1986 and earned the following honors:
- Awarded Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Most Valuable Player in his first season
- Elected to Pro Football Weekly and Football Digest All-Rookie teams, 1979
- Named the Packer’s NFL Man of the Year
- Holds the Packers franchise record for most unassisted tackles in a single season
Connie and I welcome you to glance through our website and see the wonderful things that the Father is doing here at Hayneville Baptist Church. We have been here since June of 2025 and hope to see you in person soon.
